Kates, Nussman, Ellis, Farhi & Earle, LLP is pleased to announce that Sandra M. Barsoum has become a partner of the firm.
Ms. Barsoum’s practice focuses on civil litigation. She has extensive experience in handling a variety of matters within the realm of employment law, such as New Jersey discrimination claims (“NJLAD”), sexual assault, and hostile-work environment. Ms. Barsoum also represents employers in Wage and Labor disputes and other complex business matters. Ms. Barsoum’s practice also involves Estate Administration, which includes but is not limited to, drafting wills and Trust and representing clients in contested estate litigation. Ms. Barsoum is also involved in landlord/tenant practice, which includes representing residential and commercial landlords in summary dispossess proceedings, complex commercial tenancy litigation, residential evictions and commercial lease disputes. Her practice also includes residential real estate transactions.
Ms. Barsoum was raised in New Jersey. Ms. Barsoum received her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law where she developed a passion for advocacy. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Barsoum interned for the Honorable Judge Curtis Bell in the 9th Circuit Court in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, Family law Division. She was a legal intern at the Legal Services of South-Central Michigan in Lansing, Michigan-where she provided legal advice and representation to low-income clients within the realm of family, consumer and housing law.
